ESET's update service for users with restricted bandwidth or special security needs.
The service is free to any ESET customer with a business license and can be activated immediately.
ESET Micro Updates allow users who have intermittent or limited access to a network connection, or who need to limit connectivity for operational reasons, to keep their ESET protection products securely up to date.

e.g. manufacturing, automotive, aviation. - For users with strict security needs
e.g. military, pharmaceuticals.
ESET Micro Updates are especially suitable for
Offline and low-bandwidth updates
ESET Micro Updates are optimized to deliver essential protection in environments without a regular internet connection, such as for maritime and exploration users. The file size is usually less than 1MB per week, and needs to be downloaded only once for an entire network.
Seamless update process
Endpoints can download micro updates directly, or via a local ESET update mirror. Even if several weeks of updates are missed, the process of downloading and integrating the latest update remains absolutely straightforward. This allows users to achieve compliance whatever the operational circumstances.
Minimal system footprint
ESET software is renowned for its high quality and small system footprint. This has two advantages: it allows you to use the full power of your hardware, even during scanning and updates; and it makes ESET software fully compatible with older machines.
