To block the majority of websites and only allow access to the ones you specify, use the following step-by-step instructions for your ESET security product:
- Open the main program window by clicking the ESET icon
next to the system clock or by clicking Start →All Programs → ESET → ESET Smart Security or ESET NOD32 Antivirus.
- Press the F5 key to open the Advanced Setup window.
- From the Advanced Setup tree on the left, click Web access protection →HTTP, HTTPS → Address management.
- To block all websites except the ones you specify, select the Allow access only to HTTP addresses in the list of allowed addresses option.
- To set the list of allowed addresses, select List of allowed addresses from the drop-down menu.
Fig. 1-1 - Click Add to individually add the addresses you want to allow users to access. For each website, be sure to either include "www." or a wildcard "*" symbol, as in "www.eset.com" or "*eset.com". Click OK to close the window and then click OK again to exit the Advanced Setup window.
