ESET®, the global leader in proactive digital protection with a record 10 years of consecutive VB100 awards for its ESET NOD32® technology, was honored with the ‘Hersteller des Jares 2013’ Award (Manufacturer of the Year 2013) by CRN, a renowned professional magazine for ICT sector retailers in Germany in the category of IT security. The finalists included three best scoring companies and all where honored as the “Manufacturer of the Year”, from those three - ESET ranked second.

The voting was conducted by the CRN magazine readers – retailers and resellers, who were directly asked to vote. These awards are given out annually to the top companies, which have distinguished themselves through their product portfolio, innovations, overall development, channel and marketing programs as well as service and support for the channel network. The ceremony was attended by many ICT specialists.

Maik Wetzel, B2B Sales Director at ESET Germany, a subsidiary of ESET, has accepted the award: “We are very pleased to receive such a highly respected award becoming the ’Manufacturer of the Year 2013' in Germany. By the ‘Hersteller des Jares 2013’ award, the retailers have recognized ESET’s achievements for the 2012/2013 fiscal year.
