ESET promotes Parvinder Walia to Sales Director for APAC Award-winning antivirus firm bolsters regional sales talent to grow market share in region

Singapore, May 5, 2014 – ESET, the global leader in proactive digital protection with a record of 10 years consecutive VB100 awards for its award-winning ESET NOD32® technology, has named Parvinder Walia as Sales Director for APAC in a bid to further boost their market presence in the Asia Pacific region. Reporting to Lukas Raska, COO of ESET Asia, Parvinder will be responsible for streamlining sales support for ESET’s channel driven business model in the region. The appointment is effective immediately.

 

Parvinder’s new role rides on his previous responsibilities as Marketing Director for APAC, where he was tasked with developing and enhancing marketing programs for ESET’s Asia Pacific distribution and reseller channels, helping to generate qualified leads and building the ESET brand. As Sales Director for APAC, Parvinder will lead the sales and marketing teams, while remaining responsible for ESET’s growing partnerships in the region. 

 

During his tenure as Marketing Director for APAC, Parvinder made significant contributions to partner management. He worked closely with the the core internal teams and developed an effective sales and product training platform for APAC partners. He also drove significant channel expansion in Japan for ESET.

Parvinder joined ESET as Channel Marketing Manager for APAC in April 2009 and was based in Sydney, Australia. He moved to Singapore in 2010, when ESET’s regional office in Singapore was established. Prior to working with ESET, he was with CA Technologies managing Asia Pacific accounts for internet security products.

  

Parvinder graduated from the University of Technology, Sydney with a Master of Business Administration and Master of Engineering.
