ESET, a global pioneer in IT security for more than two decades, today introduces the Beta versions of its latest ESET Smart Security 9 and ESET NOD32 Antivirus 9 products. Join the ESET Beta Program and be among the first to try out new features such as Banking & Payment Protection and enhanced Botnet Protection, as well as the products’ new graphical user interface.
“ESET security products for home users are well known for their multiple layers of protection and ultra-fast performance. ESET Smart Security 9 introduces Banking & Payment Protection, which offers users a secure environment for online transactions by automatically detecting when they visit banking or payment sites.
Other new features in this Beta include:
| • | Reputation Evaluator, which assesses cloud-based files and URLs and can block access based on their reputation-based risk level; |
| • | Support for Network Signatures (an extension of ESET’s existing Botnet Protection feature) allows quick prevention of malicious botnet traffic coming to and from users’ computers; |
| • | Improved update process, which is now more flexible and transparent; also, new protection features are added automatically, as they become available. |
| • | Full support for Microsoft Windows 10 operating system, to ensure optimum protection. |
In addition, ESET Smart Security 9 includes many proven features such as Anti-Theft, Anti-Phishing and Advanced Personal Firewall.
