ESET Achieved the Best Score in VBSpam Test for the Fifth Consecutive Time

ESET Mail Security for Microsoft Exchange Server won the latest spam filtering test by leading security testing authority, Virus Bulletin, having achieved a 99.999% spam catch rate while producing zero false positives.

As a result, ESET received the VBSpam+ certification, its fifth in a row, confirming its position as market leader in spam protection. 

“Spam filtering requires fine-tuning the security mechanism to find the right balance between what to block as spam and what to let pass as a legitimate email. We are happy that our efforts to protect our customers have paid off,” commented Palo Luka, Chief Technology Officer at ESET.

Tests used by Virus Bulletin for the VBSpam comparative mimic spam filters used in business environments. It combines two live spam streams representing mailboxes all over the world, as well as a live stream of legitimate international emails.
