ESET achieves “Champion” status in latest EMEA Canalys Leadership Matrix

17 December 2018 - ESET, a global leader in cybersecurity, has achieved “Champion” status in Canalys’ 2018 Leadership Matrix for EMEA. This is the first time that ESET has been awarded this status and the company joins names such as Dell EMC, HP and Fujitsu in this year’s list. Canalys, the leading global technology market analyst firm, announces The Leadership Matrix bi-annually.

The Leadership Matrix combines partner feedback from Canalys’ unique Vendor Benchmark tool with an independent assessment by Canalys analysts of each vendor’s momentum in the channel, based on their investments, strategy improvements and execution. As a Champion, ESET received the highest scores in the Canalys Vendor Benchmark and exhibited characteristic such as ongoing improvements in channel processes to drive simplicity and ease of doing business; investments in programs; and a demonstrable commitment to growing the share of revenue generated through partners. Champions must also show that they are making sustainable investments in the future of their channel models.

This year, ESET is one of four security vendors in the 12 Champions, highlighting the opportunity that IT security is creating for partners. Canalys recognises the strategic value in these partner relationships; in the era of digital and hybrid IT, vendors are becoming more selective in these relationships, making the Champion status in the leadership matrix an even greater achievement for ESET.
