ESET, the global leader in proactive digital protection with a record 10 years of consecutive VB100 awards for its ESET NOD32® technology, has announced a new partnership deal with MobiFone, one of the largest telecom company in Vietnam. According to this deal that was signed with the support of our partner company in the country, ESET products (ESET NOD32® Antivirus and ESET® Mobile Security for Android) will be sold to MobiFone customers on a monthly subscription model.

Recently, MobiFone has made public announcement to their subscribers about the new 3G Data packages bundled with ESET, the value of adding ESET service to their offering and the availability of both, the ESET NOD32 Antivirus version 7 and ESET Mobile Security for Android version 2.

The new and rebuilt version of ESET Mobile Security for Android, that is being offered, was introduced at the beginning of August 2013, and is designed to maximize users’ security while using their mobile devices in less secure environments. Users of mobiles can feel safe with ESET’s advanced protection as they explore the Internet - from connecting to public Wi-Fi networks and visiting sketchy websites, clicking on suspicious email or instant messages, to downloading apps from third party stores and monitoring their permissions.

“One of our goals with the new version of ESET Mobile Security for Android was to make protection easier to use for our customers. Our new user interface and the new setup wizards have been created because we know that mobile users are looking for simple and powerful security products that are easy to configure and don’t require a lot of interactions nor consume a lot of resources,” said Ignacio Sbampato, ESET Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

ESET NOD32 Antivirus version 7, which is part of the MobiFone deal and has just been released globally, offers new and advanced technology features such as Exploit Blocker, Advanced Memory Scanner, Vulnerability Shield and ESET® Social Media Scanner that combine to provide a great balance of protection and usability without compromising system performance.
